My Baby Turns 8!

Today, September 8th, my baby is 8!!

I don't know how she is already 8 or if I will ever see her as a big kid because to me she will always be my baby Brooklyn.   We will be celebrating her all weekend long with her favorite dinner being made tonight and then celebrating with family and a trip to Knott's Berry Farm over the weekend.

This sweet girl came into our lives always needing to be held or cuddled with.  She loves being next to her mom and needs to be hugged and kissed all the time.  She can be a bit needy and dramatic at times but has a huge heart.   She loves playing with legos, barbies and shopkins.   If she isn't playing with her legos or the other toys she's writing stories or drawing.  She loves to draw and says she wants to be an artist someday.

She is goofy and very strange sometimes, always making us laugh and keeping us on our toes!

Life is definitely not boring with Brooklyn around!

A very girly girl who loves sparkly things and still dreams of a trip to Paris.  She loves her sister more than anything and has been known to cry when she leaves to hang out at a friends or doesn't want to play with her.  Brooklyn can be very sensitive and cries pretty easily and although we are working on this I love that she shows her emotions and there is no question on what she is feeling because she truly wears her heart on her sleeve.  She also loves her cat a little too much at times (hence her always needing to cuddle, the cat not so much).

She is so special to us and we can't wait to celebrate her Golden Birthday all weekend long!
