Christmastime

It's Christmas Eve and we are busy with all the last minute details and food prep.   This day is always super busy but worth it every time.   I wanted to get all of my photos on here before the big day that way I can focus on relaxing for the next week and maybe I'll get to blogging our Christmas before New Years but I'm not promising anything.

December has been so much fun!
I just love all the festive clothes and accessories the girls choose to wear throughout the month.

The girls had a few last minute gifts they wanted to pick up for friends but we had to stop at Starbucks before hitting the shops.

Kayla has decided she is too old for her American Girl dolls so she gave Brooklyn all of her doll clothes which has had Brooklyn spending lots of time playing with them all again.  I sure am glad to see them out and about being played with.

I told the girls I needed to head to the mall to return something and they said shopping sounded fun so we made a day of it.  First stop was lunch and then we hit up a couple of our favorite stores before grabbing Starbucks for the ride back home.

It was a lot of fun shopping with my girls all day.

Brooklyn has been adding Christmas sprinkles to her waffles everyday because 'tis the season

We sure are enjoying our little kitty's.

I don't know why I don't bake these triple chocolate biscotti's more often they are so delicious!

Looks like everyone has been enjoying Winter break.

Friday night we all headed out to dinner and then went to an indoor soccer game.   This has become another fun Winter break tradition we have begun doing.

Do we ever need to go back to school?
I'm loving these slow mornings with coffee and a treat with no place to be.

Brooklyn set up her Calico Critter town and wanted to show me her Christmas day set up.

She set up the Christmas dinner and even had a tree with presents.  It made me a little excited to know that one day she will make a wonderful hostess.

Baking with my girls is one of my favorite things about Christmas!  I have some of the best memories baking with my grandmother and I hope my girls will have the same memories remembering all of the cookies we baked over the years together.

They are holding paws!!!
Do you see it?

All my furbabies with me

The girls did not approve of having Elfie hide in their bathroom.  Brooklyn came out and said she would not be using her bathroom because it was creepy having Elfie watching her.

The girls have been playing games together daily so last night we all played Uno together.

Well that's just about all I've got to share for now.  We've watched so many Christmas movies it's just a matter of which ones to watch again at this point!
