Back on November 17th we brought home two new fur babies.
Originally the plan was to wait until after the holidays to get kittens but I kept thinking how much cozier a home feels with a cat to cuddle up with and when I saw pictures of these kitties I knew I couldn't wait any longer. Brooklyn couldn't either! We told the girls the night before that we would be going to get two kittens the next morning and she came out in her cat pajamas and had her shirt for the next day all ready to wear.
The girls were ready to meet their new kittens.
When we got them home the first thing I did was bathe them. I don't think they were being taken care of as well as they were about to be. They both smelled terrible and could use a good cleaning and they didn't seem to mind much at all.
Oliver is the tabby grey cat and June is black and white. They are brother and sister and are together all the time. For the first week or two if Oliver couldn't find June he would wander around and meow until they were reunited.
As I said before they weren't taken care of that well and I'm thinking not held much at all because they would hiss at us the first week or so if we tried to pet or pick them up. Never did they try to hurt us, they were just scared. Now they are fine and no more hissing thankfully.
June is in love with Cali and loves to follow her. Cali is not interested whatsoever and would much rather just be left alone to sleep. June has been our hardest to get to cuddle or sit with us because she is a busy kitty. She ALWAYS wants to play and only in the last few days has she been coming around us more and letting us hold her longer.
Oliver on the other hand loves nothing more than to cuddle and be loved on.
They are just two sweet and we all look forward to loving on them everyday. The other night Cali even let Oliver share the bed with her and I'm pretty sure they will all be cuddled up together after a few more weeks together.

June and Oliver are beautiful kitties.
I am 86 and couldn't manage a day without my cat Simba.
Have fun with your new friends.
