Ten on Ten was on a Friday this month and started out just like every other #stayhome day. Nothing too exciting about our day because we couldn't go anywhere and it was also raining, ALL DAY! We only do school Monday through Thursday because, well it's our HOME and that's the way I want it so there was no set schedule for the day.
Somebody still has to go to work though so this is where he spends his Monday through Friday.
The girls have been spending their mornings watching a movie, Kayla is trying to watch every Marvel movie so she has one on every morning. She usually watches a little of it or the entire movie and then goes in her room to draw. Brooklyn always takes off mid movie to go play Barbies, Legos, Calico Critters etc.
With no one around I happily watched some Real Housewives of New York
After it was over I took a break from the couch and baked some orange glazed bars.
Then I poured some more coffee and it was back to the couch to watch a favorite movie, It's Complicated.
Now we don't typically do any school work on Friday's but if I get notice that their teachers post something online for them to do I make sure they do it especially if it's math. Right now nothing posted is mandatory but the girls have been really good about doing it anyway.
At 3:45 Chris has his end of the day skype meeting with all of his co workers and on Fridays they all pour a cocktail to cheers each other to the weekend.
While he was on his end of the day meeting we had two special visitors who came by to drop off Easter baskets for the girls. We got to visit with my parents for a bit through the window. I'm so sad we will not all be together this Easter.
We ended our Friday night watching The Rocketeer and eating Tomato soup for dinner.
