Last Thursday was the first day of school and the girls were so ready to be back!
Kayla has cross country practice in the mornings everyday at 6:15! I told her they should give them the first day of school off because parents have traditions and we need our photos. I've always gotten a first day of school photo and even though she wasn't dressed for the school day I still made her pose in her running attire before we left to go to practice.
She was so happy to be back and I can't believe I have a freshman!!
Almost two hours later it was time for Brooklyn to go to school.
Happy to be going back!

After way too much time spent waiting at the middle school and high school pick up I had both my girls back home! I made them pose for a sister picture and of course it ended up with them being their goofy selves.
One picture of Kayla in her actual first day outfit and then they were inside eating a snack and talking all about their day.
There was no complaints and they both said all of their teachers seem good so yay!
Friday at school went just as good and I had a little treat waiting for them when they came home.
We took them to a nearby arcade to play some games before we went and grabbed sushi for dinner. After dinner we came back home and the girls jumped on the trampoline for awhile.
It actually felt like a Friday from back before everything changed and made for a wonderful start to our weekend!

Looks like it was a great start for both of your girls! Don't you love when the first week isn't 5 whole days?!
Glad they had a great first day back at school! It's amazing how grown up they look.
