Last week Brooklyn turned 13!
She is an official teenager now.
After school we celebrated her with presents, her dinner of choice and dessert.
This card made by Kayla was hilarious.
A few days later we were setting up for her party. I baked a few of her favorite goodies.
Brooklyn was very specific on her color scheme and knew exactly what she wanted for her party. I was excited when she told me a pretty table set up would be fun. I went to Trader Joe's and picked up flowers and then arranged them to make her table look special.
It came out very pretty and Brooklyn loved it!
The weather was drizzly and cloudy earlier in the morning but thankfully we had no rain the time of the party so the kids got to play outside as well as inside.
A few rounds of ring around the rosie
and a lot of Just Dance happened.
Such a great group of kids.
Thirteen came quick and I just can't believe how amazing this girl is!
