Brooklyn wrapped up her seventh grade year and was semi excited about Summer. She loves being with her friends everyday so she was sad about not seeing them daily!
Kayla finished tenth grade and was very ready for her Summer days. She also knows she will see her friends almost daily at her cross country practices all Summer long but she was ready to not have any schoolwork!
While they were off at their last short day of school I added some Summer decorations and got their Summer goodies ready for them to find when they got home.
Brooklyn was out first so we went and grabbed lunch for all of us and then headed up to pick up Kayla who had been texting me and begging me to pick her up early from her last class which of course I said no you can stick it out until everyone else gets out.
I didn't realize it at this moment but this would be my last time picking up Kayla from her last day of school!

Brooklyn spotted that DVD right away. She was watching it daily on Netflix until they stopped carrying it and she was so sad. Now she has the DVD to watch whenever she wants.
Summer will fly by but we will be enjoying every single second of it!

Rites of passage. I was surprised at how much Brooklyn had grown - comparing her height to the peep hole in the door! You have such beautiful girls.
