Father's Day Weekend

 

We got home from vacation late Friday night so Saturday we got caught up on laundry and groceries.  I made a yummy dinner and we opened the perfect bottle of wine to accompany watching one of Chris' favorite movies, Top Gun Maverick.

Sunday morning the girls made him french toast and then he opened his gifts.

We drove out to visit with his brothers and step dad for a bit and then headed over to my parents house for the rest of the day to celebrate with my dad

It was a great day spent with the dads and celebrating all they do and have done for us!

 

Fathers Day Weekend

 

We started our Father's day celebration on Saturday night with dinner at home.  I made a favorite, Apricot and Cranberry Stuffed Pork with mashed potatoes.

Dessert was simple with just a store bought chocolate sponge cake with fresh strawberries and whipped cream.

The girls gave Chris his card which included details of how we would be spending Father's day Sunday.

He was very happy that he would be spending the day at Dodger's stadium cheering on his favorite team!

The girls were excited to be going as well and it was free bucket hat night so that was a big plus for them.

It was sooooo hot at the game but we had fun!

Unfortunately the Dodgers played terrible and lost big time so we left a little before the game was over to avoid the insane amount of traffic there wouldv'e been.  We came back home with enough time to make ice cream sundaes to finish off Father's day for this guy.

Father's Day Weekend

 

We started celebrating Father's day on Friday with a trip to my father in laws to swim and celebrate him.

Saturday we stayed home and relaxed.  Chris requested bbq chicken pizza and a mozzarella basil pizza for dinner.

Sunday morning the girls made their dad breakfast.

Brooklyn made it while Kayla cleaned and did what Brooklyn told her her to do ;)

The girls gave Chris homemade cards and his gift.

That afternoon we drove out to celebrate the other dads in our life.
