The Flood

So here are a few pictures that we took from our weekend. We did paint the Master Bedroom and get the room done as far as painting goes.But we also had to go to my Mother in Laws to celebrate a birthday, so we spent Saturday night with family and had a great time.Here is my Dad and the girls watching Pinnochio on Monday for probably the 100th time! I ended up spending all day at my parents on Monday doing laundry. Why would I go all the way to my parents to do laundry (they live about an hour away)? Well on Sunday while we were finishing up painting Kayla ever so cutely started saying "oh look at all the water mommy" Of course I ignored her the first couple of times. We all know how imaginative little ones are! I eventually noticed she was looking down the hall everytime she said this so I thought I should go check. Well what I saw was water....everywhere! We pretty much saved all the carpet in the back bedrooms. It did however get to two closets in the hallway so I guess it wasn't too bad just a huge inconvenience!

Probably the worst of it is my new Washer will not be delivered until March 10th!!! I guess I will be spending a lot of time at my parents doing laundry. But atleast I got the painting done right? I do have a little peek of our bedroom, it is not even close to done as far as decorating. I need wall decor, new lamps and pretty much everything else. I'm thinking I don't even like our furniture anymore so I might be painting/staining not sure yet. I guess our room is going to take a lot longer to get done than I thought! I do have the bedding that I like but this could also change since I like to change out duvet's often.
