Brooklyn's Fifteenth Birthday

 My baby turned Fifteen!

No party this year, she just wanted a day at home with good food, presents and to watch Gilmore Girls.  For breakfast she requested cinnamon roll pancakes made by her dad.

Gilmore Girl pajamas

and tickets to go see Stephen Sanchez the following weekend.

We set up snacks later in the day to enjoy while we watched Gilmore Girls.

Her requested pasta for dinner

and her favorite chocolate on chocolate cake for dessert!

Happy 15th Birthday Brooklyn!

Dancing Queen, SEVENTEEN!

Kayla is SEVENTEEN!

Our girl came home from school with flowers from a boy and her bestie

She opened all of her presents

and then we went to our favorite sushi spot for dinner.

Back home we sang happy birthday and enjoyed cookies from Cookie Co.

We had one last gift that I told her I forgot about and said it was just something small.  She opened it to find tickets to see she would be going to the Billie Eilish concert coming up.  She was so excited!!!

Happy Birthday Kayla!

That following weekend she had a sleepover with a couple of friends to celebrate her seventeenth birthday.

Happy Birthday to Me

I had the perfect birthday this year.

The girls, Chris and I drove down to the beach area to shop and eat dinner but first we grabbed my free Starbucks drink and then we shopped

We bought nothing but it was fun being out and looking.

We drove over to Balboa Island after and walked around.   Itt was near sunset and so pretty.  I love looking at all the beautiful homes on the island.

Dinner was up next

I picked a delicious Mexican spot.
We ate well that night!

Love spending my days with these people!

Brooklyn Turns 14

Brooklyn turned 14 the first week of September!

She did not want a party at all this year, she wanted to come home from school, open presents, have her favorite dinner and be cozy she said.  That's exactly what she did.  All her presents were waiting for her and I made her favorite, Buffalo Chicken Pasta for dinner followed by her favorite chocolate on chocolate cake.  She was one very happy fourteen year old!
