Christmas Time Is Here!

There are only 2 weeks left until Christmas!!!

It always sneaks up rather quickly especially because it feels like we are constantly running around.

Today after we dropped off this little one at Preschool....

Brooklyn and I headed over to Barnes 'n Noble to find a book that would help explain why we celebrate Christmas.

I was kind of surprised that out of about 50 different children's books about Santa Claus, Snowmen, Reindeer etc.

I only found maybe 4 different books telling the story of the real reason Christmas is celebrated.

I picked this one out because I thought it was written the best for a 3 year old to understand.

I already read it to Kayla after school today before she took her nap.

She liked it and asked me to read it again when she wakes up.

I also made a quick stop at Trader Joe's to pick up some Peppermint Hot Chocolate but once I was there I found the Peppermint Coffee and Dark Chocolate Covered Peppermint  Joe Joe's!

If you haven't tried these cookies they are delicious!!!

The downside is you only get about 10 cookies in the box :(

But it's worth every penny!

I wait every year for when I can go to Starbucks and order a Peppermint Mocha Coffee but I'm realizing it might be getting a little expensive so I am hoping the Trader Joe's Peppermint Coffee or Peppermint Hot Chocolate will taste just as good so it can save me the time and money I spend going to Starbucks!

I'm not betting on it though :)

This running around daily getting ready for Christmas is exhausting.

Apparently our morning shopping excursion was too much for this little to handle as well ;)

P.S.
We are finally getting our tree tomorrow evening so I'm hoping I will get some good pictures of the girls decorating or un-decorating the tree!
