Early Mornings

Lets start off by getting it clear that I am not a morning person!

Tuesday and Thursday's Kayla has Preschool so I am up early getting the girls and myself ready.

Kayla takes  F O R E V E R  to eat her breakfast, she will talk about anything and everything, it drives me crazy!

I feel like no matter what time we get up even if it is an hour earlier than usual we still end up being rushed.

Then trying to just track  her down to get dressed usually takes about 10 minutes.

She thinks this is a game and she usually hides or starts to get dressed and then gets sidetracked and starts playing or brings out a book she wants me to read.

and don't even get me started on brushing her hair....don't all little girls hate having their hair brushed?

Atleast brushing her teeth is not a fight!

Brooklyn is usually pretty easy to get ready.

This morning Kayla threw a fit because she just wanted to watch "one"  movie before school.

She couldn't understand why she just couldn't go to school after the movie was over.

If only life would just wait so we could do things at our own pace :)

Finally they are ready and get a few minutes to play together while I feed the animals.

Yes we have 2 Dogs and 1 Cat and they are VERY persistent that they get fed at the right time!

Alright it's time to put our shoes on

Now we are ready to GO!

What will this be like when they are both going to school and will not even get out of bed? :)

Sounds like mornings at our house! Soooo not looking forward to the fall when both boys will be in school - and two different schools, at that! (Adrian goes to kindergarten and Wyatt will be in preschool). How will we stay sane???

Your morning sounds like mine. My son never wants to get up in the morning, probably becuase he stays up so late. I'll think he's sleeping, then I'll notice the lights are on and find he is playing legos or something.

It seems like it was only yesterday my kids were that young and taking forever and a day to get ready. Now, my daughter waits on me to get her to high school :) Your girls are little cutie pies.

that's my hardest thing in the morning! I don't know why it can take 45 minutes to eat a bowl of cereal! And just like you it doesn't matter how early we get up. It's like they know and just take longer!!! hrmpf!
