Fun Times

I can't believe it is already March.
If this month is anything like last week or this week then it will be April in a blink of an eye.
Spring is right around the corner
and I am really looking forward to adding some plants to the backyard as soon as I find some time.
But in the meantime our family has a busy schedule ahead.

Yesterday my parents took the family to Knott's Berry Farm.

Although it was rainy and wet in most of Southern California the weather at Knott's Berry Farm was perfect.
The best part of it all was that there was nobody there!

I had not been there in probably over 10 years and I was surprised to find out that not only is it much cheaper than Disneyland there are so many more rides for little kids.

Kayla and Brooklyn had so much fun together.

Kayla had a few favorite rides that she wanted to go on over and over again.

While Brooklyn loved driving the Trucks a million times!

It was nice that the park was not crowded because we did not have to wait in any lines and more than once we were told we could just stay on the ride and ride again.

This is what happens when one of my kids spots a Caraousal
Good thing the park was empty or we might have lost her.

Thank you so much mom and dad for taking our family to Knott's Berry Farm for the day.
We had a great time and I know we will be hearing all about that place from here on out :)

Sounds like a fun day Shannon. It's always nice when the park isn't busy. I love that picture of the girls holding hands...super cute :)

I keep meaning to take the kids to Knott's -- you're right, it is much cheaper than Disneyland. We live just about 25 minutes from Disneyland, though...so we have season passes there. Knott's is a bit more of a drive for us. Looks like you had a fun day! I remember when I was young, they had "the parachutes" and that was the big thrill ride at Knott's; that, and Montezuma's Revenge :)
