I gathered the laundry but left it in it's pile
toys stayed scattered around the house
no need to wash all of the dishes
instead of all of that nonsense that overcomes our days at times, it could wait
instead I took the girls to storytime at a local bookstore where we sat together laughing and giggling at the funny turkey stories read to us.
built castles
and
We sang Jingle Bell Rock, Frosty the Snowmen and Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer the whole way there and the whole back.
and when Kayla asked to listen to Jingle Bell Rock over and over and over again
I let her!
Days like this are what I am Thankful for.
I'm thankful that I have the choice to stay home and be with my girls and that I have a warm bed to make or not make everyday.
I'm thankful that my husband has a great job and works hard so we are able to buy toys for our kids to play with,
I'm thankful that my girls are healthy and are able to hear and sing along to their favorite song over and over again, even if it might drive me crazy sometimes.
I'm just thankful for my entire Life and everyone who is a part of it,
Even You!
I hope you are all Thankful for the little, every day things in life because in the end that is all that really matters.
Wishing all of you a wonderful day of Thanks!

Sweet post! It's the little things that really are the big things. Such a good reminder to slow down and take it all in! Happy Thanksgiving!
