1.1.12

Hope everyone had a wonderful New Years Eve and you didn't drink too much champagne last night!

We didn't make it until midnight but we still went out to celebrate the end of 2011.
My father in law recently bought a beautiful home in Palm Springs and was having a New Year's Eve Party so we got all dressed up and headed out.

Uncle Joe was there to entertain the girls with all of his cool electronics

and of course there was plenty of Champagne to ring in the New Year

we actually headed home around 10 because we were losing a little one and thought it would be best to get them tucked in bed before we ended 2011 with a tired tantrum.
The girls had so much fun and so did we, spending time with the hubby and our girls is always a perfect New Years Eve for me!

of course this morning I had high hopes of the girls sleeping in but that didn't happen
instead they found the fun New Years blowers and goodies I had laid out for them the night before so we woke up to them having their own New Years party ;)

So far we have spent the beginning of 2012 in our pajamas on the couch watching Gnomeo & Juliet.
In a little bit Kayla will head out with daddy to get some birthday shopping done for my birthday tomorrow and Brooklyn and I will stay cuddled on the couch reading books are playing with her princesses.
So far 2012 has been just perfect!

Hi Shanon,

Looks like you guys had a wonderful New Year's at your father-in-laws place! I also spent NYE this year with the hubby & kiddos at home. It's funny because my teenage son was the one to doze off first {before midnight}, yet my 4 yr old was able to stay up!!! lol Anyway, love images you shared - Happy New Year to you!!!

Hugs,
Jessie
