Monday

Just when I was about to give up on Winter we finally get some rain and snow.
Last week the weather was absolutely perfect, low to mid 70's and we enjoyed it everyday by being outside.
Friday I even went out to pick up some flowers, I couldn't take it anymore I needed some pretty in the backyard.
I'm pretty sure that is why when I woke up Saturday morning and read that Monday called for Snow Showers it was because I went and bought flowers!

Since it was scheduled to rain and snow here I thought we would spend the morning baking and decorating cookies.
The girls seemed to be okay with the idea so we went ahead with it ;)

Naptime came around and I told the girls that maybe, just maybe after they woke up we might have some snow but not to hold their breathe because we were barely getting any rain.
Although it did hail while they took their naps we didn't receive any snow which Kayla was not happy to find out as she eagerly came around the corner to see.

While we waited for Brooklyn to wake up, Kayla and I watched this show.

It reminds me of Double Dare....remember that show?
It was the best ....... E V E  R!
Anywho, Kayla loves this show and wants to be on it, I remember wanting to be on Double Dare back in day.

After some relaxing it was homework time and eventually Brooklyn got out of bed and we ate some dinner.
Of course at 5 o'clock just when it was getting dark out I turned to the window and saw the snow that we had been waiting all day for coming down!
Go figure it would snow when it was dark out and we couldn't go out to play in it atleast I'm not taking the girls out cuz it's way too cold now.
It's now almost 9 o'clock and still snowing.
It's the most I think we have ever had and is so beautiful!

I'm thinking schools will be canceled tomorrow since we aren't used to this amount especially if it snows all night.

I'm hoping it's here in the morning so we can play in it or so the girls can play and I can take pictures ;)

Oh my gosh so beautiful! I didn't realize you could get snow...guess I thought you lived closer to OC than you do! It was pouring here at 5:00 just in time for me to get the kids - yuck. Here's hoping you still have snow in the morning!!

How FUNN!
I wish we got a tiny bit once in a while. The foothills behind our house are always so pretty with snow after it rains.

But I'm with you, so ready for spring, but two new pairs of cute wedges, ready to plant my vegetable garden, and NOW winter shows up! I'm over it. haha.

can't wait to see your snow pictures!
