We're Still Here

It's been a week since my last post!
We spent the past 3 day weekend visiting family, going to t-ball practice and playing outside enjoying some family time.
We have also been trying to get some Summer vacations on the calendar so we can have some fun to look forward too.
I'm not sure we have even really had a winter, it's rained maybe 4 times, if that so I'm kind of hoping we just skip this winter thing and it starts heating up for Spring and Summer in the next few weeks!

Yesterday morning hubby's car wouldn't start, it seems he needed a new battery so he ended up calling into work to tell them he wouldn't be able to make it.
I got to sleep in a little while he got the girls up and got Kayla ready for school.
When I woke up I thought it would be a good idea to go to Disneyland after we picked up Kayla from school since he was already home and all ;)

Of course nobody was going to complain with an idea like that!

It was a perfect day to spend at Disneyland and definitely got me in the mood for Spring.
They had beautiful Tulips (pictured up above) all over the park.
If only I could have their landscapers come take care of my yard!
The girls had a lot of fun and we even got Brooklyn to go on a ride she would never go on before because she thought it was too scary.
She confirmed afterward that she still didn't like that ride but atleast she tried and if you know Brooklyn that is a huge step ;)

My #1 reason for this trip was to pick up my silhouettes of the girls I have wanted done for I don't know how long.
Finally I got them done and now I can't wait to get them up on the wall if only I could get up and hang them.
The girls and I are calling it a lazy day and will be watching movies together for as long as we can today.
Right now it's Aladdin so I better get going so I don't miss any of it ;)

I'm a tiny bit jealous that you can just go to Disneyland like it's no big deal! That is really awesome! I guess my equivalent would be the Mall of America. But it's no Disneyland!

Those silhouettes are beautiful!

I am amazed at how you can just pop into DL anytime you like also lol, it's a 13 hour flight and alot of planning on our part not to mention the money but all so very worth it!!
Lovely pictures, they will look so nice hanging up.
Enjoy your movie day!
