Easter

Did everyone have a great Easter?
Ours couldn't have been better,
the weather was amazing,
we had tons of great food and the girls looked so cute in their dresses.

of course they were both up at the crack of dawn ready to dig into their baskets and hunt for their eggs hidden behind by the Easter bunny

Brooklyn was very interested in finding only eggs filled with candy
if she picked one up that did not have candy in it she would set it back down and move on to the next and once she found one filled with a few jelly beans or m&m's she would stop and eat it before moving on to the next
needless to say she didn't find many eggs.

Kayla didn't mess around
she made sure to fill her basket up as fast as she could!

Later on in the afternoon the grandparents, aunts and uncles joined us to celebrate the day

We stuffed ourselves silly and had another Easter egg hunt outside where everyone got a chance to hide some eggs for the girls to find

Just another family fun-filled holiday!

Adorable as always! My girls loved looking for the eggs and even put the eggs back to find them again. I love the holidays with the family all together.

My goodness - what a couple of cuties. Don't you love it when the weather cooporates. It's been raining here for several weeks but did manage to stay sunny for most of Easter. I agree with the idea of searching for the candy filled eggs - love that girl. Have a great weekend.
