Halloween 2012

Halloween has come and gone and as always the girls had a great time.
They both were a bit sad last night when we put them to bed, Kayla was sad she was going to have to wait a whole year for next Halloween and Brooklyn kept asking if we could do that again next year.
For the past 6 years we have all the grandparents over to celebrate the holiday and go trick or treating with the girls.
The past 3 years we have made them dress up which makes the night a bit more fun.
The girls get a huge kick out of our costumes and even though we might feel pretty silly these little girls are going to have some amazing memories of Halloween when they get older!

.

Now on to the costumes,
Brooklyn was Cinderella which is quite appropriate since she definitely believes she is a real life princess.

Kayla was a cat and had a whole dance she had been practicing to go along with this costume.
Her posing has gotten a bit out of control, she tried posing us when we were taking our family picture.

I don't even know what this is......
LOL

and here we are all together looking all sorts of crazy.
Hubby and I were monsters and NO he was not excited to wear his costume ;)

Zorro and the girls

silly penguins

my brother and sister n law made it out to celebrate with us this year, they are HUGE Ducks fans so their costumes were very appropriate.

after homemade tomato soup, paninis, trick or treating, cupcakes, candy and more candy the girls were exhausted.
They stayed up well past their bedtimes but it sure was worth the fun they had!

Love the poses...Juliana does the same thing. She likes to do mini photo shoots. I think we need to get her a camera for Christmas.

Love all of the cute costumes and I love that you all dress up!
