What's Going On

Sorry I haven't been posting as much but we've been busy.
Between hip hop, ballet, softball, school and running errands I haven't had much time to pull out the camera nor have I felt like writing up a blog post.
Kayla's softball games start next week which includes games twice a week and practice in between so I'm not sure blogging is going to happen as often as usual.
I was a bit surprised that they have 5 year olds playing games twice a week and I'm really hoping practice isn't going to be twice a week as well because I know my kid and she will be one very tired and cranky girl for the next few months if she's running around all week.
I guess we will see how it goes :)

Brooklyn is still in ballet and loves it she told me this morning she was going to get "dancer of the day" and she did try really hard to pay attention for about the first 15 minutes but after that she was kind of over it so she didn't get it but maybe next time.

Yesterday I brought out the Easter decorations.
I don't have a ton so it was fun to add a few touches here and there and not feel overwhelmed  about all the clean up at the end of the month.
I'll try and get some more photos to share later.

This might as well sit out on our counter all the time since this is pretty much how I've been making dinner on practice days.  We don't get home until after 6 so it is nice to have dinner waiting for us when we walk in.
We are also trying to eat healthier and I've been making a lot of recipes from Weelicious.
I first heard about the site from Genn and really liked all the healthy snacks that I could make myself for the girls to eat.
I've been having Kayla and Brooklyn help me make dinner every night too and so far everything we've made from the site has been delicious.
The best part is the snacks I've made are so much healthier than store bought and the girls like them.
The house smells delicious since dinner is cooking as I am writing this, we will be eating crock pot ribs with coleslaw and turkey chili after softball practice.
As for now I have laundry to fold so I better get off  of this computer so I can get stuff done.
Hopefully I'll be back soon but I'm not guaranteeing anything ;)

I so understand! I always thought that once my kids started school I would have more time...so not the case. I am more busy!
Yes, the crockpot is my best friend during soccer season.
I do miss your posts so don't stay away to long.

I know what you mean about being busy! Instagram has been so fun because it is fast and easy. I have been so sporadic with my blogging as well.

Life sure changes when you have more than one old enough to be involved in activities doesn't it?!?!? I feel your pain. And our crock pot has resided on our counter this week as well. Last night I walked in to the smell of beef stew....heaven!
