writing their Christmas lists
(I see hamster on that list and I'm pretty sure Santa does not bring rodents!)
they love their chocolate advent calenders from Trader Joes
cuddled on the couch watching Christmas movies, well two of us watched the movie
The past week off from school started off pretty iffy with the girls bickering and fighting pretty much nonstop. There was a lot of crying and a lot of yelling at each other so I quickly decided Tuesday we would be getting out of the house. A trip to the library and a bag full of books and dvd's brought back home solved the problem for the most part. Friday morning Kayla went along on our annual Black Friday shopping with my mom and grandmother and since it was cold and raining we didn't really have to deal with much of the crowds. We were home a little past noon and I decided it was time to deck the halls. By night fall I was done for the most part and then it was time to make dinner. I was definitely exhausted by the time I was done! By Sunday I was sad that our usual routine was going to be starting back up and they'd be off to school again but there is only 3 more weeks and they'll be off for Christmastime!
