This Week

Summer is over in 1 month from now which makes me a bit sad.  The busy schedules, waking up early and running around from place to place is not something I'm looking forward to at all.  We have been enjoying our lazy Summer days very much and it is going to be hard getting back on a schedule next month.  This week, as every week this Summer we didn't do too much just slowly working on marking off items on our Summer Fun List.

We needed more books to read so off to the library we went.

While the girls spend most of their days playing together I have been jotting down lists upon lists of things I need to do.  August and September are going to be extremely busy so I'm trying to get things organized and done ahead of time so I'm not running around like crazy as soon as school starts up again.

At a recent trip to the grocery store we stopped by the magazine section.  Kayla picked up a magazine and stopped to read all about the stars from her favorite Disney shows. It reminded me of myself when I was little, I loved going to the store with my mom to pick out magazines except I think I was in 4th grade when that started, sheesh!!
Here she's reading about rompers and she was wearing a romper herself.

We try to fit in a craft atleast once a week, this week we worked on one from our Kiwi Crate box.  Remember if you sign up through here you get $10 off your first month!!!

They love their campfires they got to make, it even came with a tealight so at night they can sit in the dark and pretend to roast their marshmallows.

I made my new favorite Summer cocktail.
Lemonade,
Vodka
and
fresh mint muddled at the bottom.
Tastes a bit like a mojito,
So refreshing!

Wednesday night we went to our local park for a free concert.  Wynonna Judd was playing and I really wanted to see her.  Kayla was excited along with me, Brooklyn not so much and after the first 30 minutes of her playing they were both ready to go home.

I was not about to leave!
Hubby took the girls over to an open area of grass so they could run around while I listened to the last few songs before it was over.  She was really good live, joking around with the audience and thankful to all her fans.

The place was packed!

Thursday was ten on ten so you can head over here to see what we did that day and yesterday we didn't do much except go out to dinner.
The weekend is another busy one full of family fun so I'll be back next week!

I am so sad about summer almost being over as well... My younger two start one month from today. Yesterday I was at target and they had back to school stuff out.
Ok that drink...yum! Too bad we do not live a little closer to one another because I think we would have some fun times together!!
