Labor Day Weekend

Labor day weekend was perfect, it was just what I needed after the first few weeks of school and me wishing I could back things up to July-ish for some more sleeping in late and lazy mornings at home!  We started the weekend off after picking up Kayla from school and heading straight to Wendy's to pick up some frosty's to start off the long weekend.  Later that night we had family movie night with popcorn and champagne for hubby and I.  After the littles went to bed we finished our drinks on the back patio.
Saturday we drove the kiddos over to my parents and hubby and I had an afternoon to ourselves.  We walked around the mall, hit up the bookstore and enjoyed a delicious, quiet dinner!  Sunday morning after lounging around and feeling lazy I figured we needed to do something fun, hubby mentioned miniature golf so we decided to head over to Castle Park which not only has miniature golf but also rides.  Of course the girls had a blast even if it was only 100 degrees outside.  We only stayed for 4 hours but will definitely be going back except next time we will make sure to choose a day that isn't so hot!  Monday was a perfect day lounging around, Kayla and I headed out early morning to pick out some clothes for Fall for her and then back home to do absolutely nothing.

This week we are getting ready for Brooklyn's 5th Birthday Party on Sunday and then whether or not the weather wants to participate it is going to be Fall in our home!
