I'm so happy it's Fall! Although I would be a bit happier if it would stay cold and stop cooling down only to heat right back up for the weekends! I've been adding Fall decorations to our home for the past week or so and I'm finally done until I add the Halloween decor in a few more weeks. Truth be told I opened the Halloween bins and then closed them right back up. I didn't have the energy to go through all of that stuff and then find homes for it. I'm not quite ready for all of it scattered around the home just yet. So for now it's just pumpkins here and there.
I picked up the adorable acorn garland at Target for under $7!!
I'll eventually find something Fall~ish to write on that chalkboard but for now it's just sitting there blank.
This is where all the baking and cooking happens!
We are all patiently waiting for cold weather so we can eat lots of soups.
Below is our living/dining room area
I received the two antique queen anne chairs below from my mother in law and I will be changing the fabric very soon to a cream and beige check pattern but I'm unsure of whether or not to paint them. I was going to at first but I kind of like the original wood on them now. What do you guys think? Maybe I'll see what they look like with the new fabric and then go from there.
I ordered the knit pillows the other day and really thought they were going to be more of a white color which obviously they are more beige so it sort of changed my plans for this room but Brooklyn let me borrow her new leopard throw and all is good for now. I'm sure it will all change in a few weeks when the ghosts, skeletons and vampire decor comes out.
I'll be sure to share the change once all the Halloween decorations make their appearance.
