It seems like this was forever ago but I have to share our twenty year anniversary overnight getaway. The girls are back in school and full swing of cross country practices and races so it's hard for us to get away four anniversary but this year it was a big one so we had to do something even if it was for just one night.
June was ready to come along too but sadly she needed to stay home.
We stayed at the most beautiful hotel in Palm Springs! Greeted with a glass of champagne at check in is always a plus.
Our room was perfection!

We even got a bottle of champagne and a card wishing us a happy anniversary.
We quickly got settled and then off to the pool to do absolutely nothing.

For dinner we found a new restaurant that did not disappoint.
Palm Springs hotels and restaurants are so well done.
I ordered ratatouille, which I had never had and it was delicious. I would definitely order it again. I sent a text message to Brooklyn and she immediately replied back with a picture of her dinner.
She always makes me laugh.

For breakfast Chris ran to Starbucks and then we got ready for our last day by the pool before we headed home.
We had such a great time and I can't wait to go back to this hotel again someday. The details were perfect and everything was so beautiful. It was only one night away but so perfect.
