November Recap

Where has the time gone?
It feels like it was just November 1st and I was so excited to finally listen to Christmas carols!

I happily packed up all of the Halloween decor because I knew it would be time to bring out the Christmas decor in no time.

We had some free weekend time in November so we of course took advantage of it and headed down toward San Diego to our favorite brewery/restaurant for the day.

The girls searched for baby sea turtles and of course enjoyed the beautiful grounds while we relaxed and enjoyed the drinks.

Soccer was wrapping up with play offs

I pulled out my all time favorite Christmas movie to watch!

Brooklyn asked to read one of my Wizard of Oz books which is extra special because not only is it a very old version but it belonged to my late Aunt Lisa.  This book will now be hers one day.

November means Egg Nog is back in stores and Brooklyn and I look forward to sharing this drink every year.

Kayla's soccer team came in 2nd place in play offs this year

Brooklyn trying to match her sister is one of my favorite things

A fun night of cocktails for the parents while the cousins play together is always fun and needs to happen more often.

A yearly doctors check up makes me a little sad when I realize she's not a little toddler anymore

I'm watching my favorite movie again with a cup of coffee which means it must of been Thanksgiving break.

The girls spent most of break playing Calico Critters, setting up all of our bedrooms as a town.  I love the days they make a mess and play together for hours!

Slow cozy mornings enjoying coffee are the best

and even better when you have a cuddly kitten as well!

The girls and I went to see Frozen 2 and all but one of us enjoyed it.   Kayla said there was way too much singing.

We almost always go camping during Thanksgiving break but since we have kittens we didn't want to leave them alone so soon so home time it was and I can't say I could complain.  Pajama days and movies sure do make for a perfect vacation if you ask me.

Christmas shopping from the comfort of my home is pretty nice.

Enjoyed some baking so we could take some Thanksgiving treats to share with the family.

I cut the last of the roses from the yard right before the snow came.

I told you I loved this movie!

The day after Thanksgiving means it's time to deck the halls!

After spending the day decorating it's pizza for dinner because mama's tired!

We also watched the movie Klaus as well.

We ended the month at a friends Winterfest party.  I was a little nervous having to play a bunch of minute to win it type games but I ended up having so much fun.

While the adults were having fun playing the games the kids were all inside painting, decorating gingerbread houses and playing together so it was a win win for us all.

November flew by and it seems December is as well.  I've got lots of blog catching up to do so it's a good thing we are just starting our Winter Vacation.
