Christmas Day

I took way too many pictures on Christmas day and none were with my good camera so they aren't the best quality but I'm sharing them because they still show the excitement and happiness and that's what I want to remember.  Our Christmas morning started without our little girls waking us up, instead we had two kittens jumping around our bed while Brooklyn was still fast asleep in her bed and Kayla read quietly in hers.   I will say it was nice not being woken up before 6am but it was also a little bit sad.   I went out and took some pictures of what Santa had left for our girls and then eventually Brooklyn was up and ready to join Kayla to come out and see what was left behind.

In the hallway we had some stockings for our kittens and the dog and the girls found some treats that Santa left for them.

The lead up to Christmas was not as full of excitement as the years past and it took me awhile to be okay with that but I was happy to see that Christmas morning still brought that happiness on their faces that I look forward to all year!

Brooklyn has been wanting a beret for so long!

Once again we loved the adorable coaster set and ornament Brooklyn made in her fourth grade class for us.

 Books!
Kayla got so many books this Christmas and she was so excited.  I never dreamed I'd have a girl who would love reading so darn much but I love it.  She's been reading constantly since Christmas.

Kayla sporting her head massager that her sister picked up for her at her schools gift shop.

Brooklyn got daddy a coffee mug and some cozy socks

and I got a coffee mug and a candle.

In her beret with some new oil pastels and art paper

Kayla took a break from opening presents to give June some love.  June appeared okay until she hit Kayla in the face to get away or maybe it was just a hug?

A beautiful ornament and candle from Kayla and her adorable penguin she drew.

The kittens loved playing with all of the leftover wrapping paper and they were great entertainment.

Cali was not impressed!

The only mess I love so much is the mess that Christmas morning brings!  I remember one year Chris was cleaning up while the girls opened each present and I was like no, please just leave it all wherever it lands.  There is just so much happiness within the mess, I love it!

Eventually we made our way to the stockings

Almost had all of our babies in the picture but Oliver was off playing with wrapping paper.

We quickly cleaned our mugs so we could use them right away!  I can't wait to pull them out again next year.

Santa always fills my stocking with some great gifts.

Around 1 o'clock the rest of the family came over to help celebrate.

Enjoying some egg nog with her papa.

Piggy back rides for the cousins

The room overflowing with presents.

The kittens spent most of the day in hiding but it looks like Brooklyn got June out by feeding her some treats

playing bop it

We had a house full of family!

Time to open more presents

The one day I look forward to every single year always flies by.  I can't wait 'til next year!

Such a beautiful Christmas, Shannon!
How DOES it come and go so quickly?
Everything looks perfectly perfect, and I can feel the excitement through your beautiful photos.
Brooklyn and Flynn seem so similar!
Too bad an entire country separates us!
Happy New Year, my friend. : )

Look for sand, khaki, beige, or fawn colors. This will neutralize any redness on your lids, which can make you appear older and tired. satta king

Add drama by smudging a darker shade on the lids just in the crease.

You should also take into account the research tools that are available, the convenience of using their interface, and the level of customer support offered.

An important tip for organic gardening that will naturally help prevent disease from appearing in your plants is to move your plants to different spots of your garden each year. This will keep any disease from spreading because the soil doesn't build up harmful organisms from planting in the same spot each year.

Brush your skin with a body brush. The body brush helps your skin in multiple ways. It removes dead skin, boots your overall circulation, and even improves what's called lymphatic flow. That in fact helps lower the amount of cellulite that you are dealing with. Make it a habit to brush at least twice per day.

it is crucial that you do what you can to relax. Stress causes a myriad of problems in the body, not the least of which is the fact that it can keep you from producing healthy skin. Try going for an evening walk or setting aside a few minutes each day to take a warm bath.
