Last Saturday the sun was shining and it was warm enough to be outside so that is exactly where we spent our day.
Saturdays have quickly become my favorite day of the week around here.
Snacks on the back porch, yes, please!
June and Oliver love watching us from the back screen but we keep them inside only
They eventually decided they were tired of watching us and needed another nap. Oliver is not supposed to nap on the clean clothes but he always does.
This staying home stuff is not ideal but I'm thankful I get to do it with these people!
We ate a light chicken and sun dried tomato salad for dinner.
and decided a fire pit and s'mores would make for a perfect Saturday night.
We were outside until 8 o'clock, the girls jumped on the trampoline, we hung out, it was a great night!
Sunday morning I made breakfast.
Sunday nights dinner included UNO and a cuddly kitty for goodluck.
Monday morning it was back to learning at home
Brooklyn has a class Zoom meeting once a week and then after a friend wanted to call and have a face time play date.
I definitely am enjoying our slow mornings before we start our school schedule each day.
Brooklyn is enjoying getting dressed for school each morning, she comes out ready every day!
This weeks learning from home school schedule went much smoother than the previous weeks had.
Apparently the blanket on the floor is where Oliver wanted it
Wednesday night I enjoyed spending a couple of hours watching a virtual wine tasting. I wore my comfy Gilmore Girls pj's, drank some delicious wine and learned some fun things about wine tasting and pairings.
Thursday afternoon Chris had an interview so the girls and I left so he could have a quiet house all to himself.
While he was on his interview the girls and I drove over to my brothers house to drop off some Easter treats for my niece and nephew. We safely visited with them from outside their window.
Friday afternoon my parents came by to leave baskets for the girls on the front porch and then we visited with them from the window for a bit.
The girls got the prettiest angel necklaces that they wore right away.
I can't believe it's been a month of us staying home! I'm really hoping that the next couple of weeks will be the last of this so we can spend time with our families and friends once again!

Hi Shannon.
I always love to stop by and spend time with you guys.
I cannot believe it has been a month, can you?
Here in Pennsylvania, our schools will remain closed for the rest of the year.
Although it doesn't affect us because we homeschool, it is hard to believe.
Enjoy those slow mornings, and I hope we are all back to normal soon. : )
Congratulations on the new job!!! You must be thrilled for him!
And looks like you had the perfect week 4... sunshine and short sleeves outside... we're getting snow tonight!
You sure do make it look easy Shannon -- I love all of the fun you're having!
Have a great weekend,
tara
