Kayla

 The beginning of April Kayla finally got to go back to school for an hour and a half twice a week.   She was just as excited as Brooklyn was to be going back.   Obviously she wants it all back to normal because the hour and a half is a joke in itself but she's just happy that it's something!

They had a huge sign outfront of the school to greet the kids.

Now some really fun news about this amazing girl!

Kayla is in, or was in a video production class this year and she had so much fun learning how to make and creating fun videos to share with her class.  Her teacher told her to enter a few of them to our cities annual film festival so she did.  I knew right away which one I thought would win because it was so good and guess what it did!  She won first place in the animation category and second place in the documentary category.  Yesterday afternoon a few people from the school district came by to surprise her with some gifts, a trophy and a medal!

Another update is that she got her second phase of braces on this week!   We went in for what we thought would just be a consultation and to go over a few things and they asked how soon she'd like them on and she said A.S.A.P. so they got her in then and there.

She was happy!

She has wanted them on for awhile, she knows the sooner they are on the sooner they come off so yay for getting things done.

She has a few other things going on that are exciting as well but we'll share that another day!
