November Recap

I wait patiently all through the month of October for November 1st because it is the first day I start playing Christmas carols!  The girls know they will be waking up to the music playing and even though they say it's still too early it makes my heart so happy!

We enjoyed one of our last dinners outside and it was so good!  Chris made the most delicious chicken burgers with homemade fries.  Looking forward to burger weather next year just for this dinner again.

cozy lights outside

Kayla made us chocolate chip muffins for breakfast

We've officially had these two kitties for two years and they still keep us quite entertained!  Oliver has always been the most lovable and loves to be pet.

June is wild and always getting into mischief but I can't ever be mad at her.  She has warmed up a lot to us and although she isn't one to cuddle she has her moments, on her time, that she loves being held and loved on.

Since Kayla was having knee surgery this month she was sad she wouldn't be able to go out shopping during Thanksgiving break.  I told her we could have a shopping day the weekend before her surgery and she was very happy.

We spent all day at the mall shopping, eating lunch and grabbing Starbucks for our ride home.  It was such a great day with my girls!

I can't tell you how sweet it is to spend the day with these two and have them tell me to get in on their selfies they take throughout the day.  I love that these two are so close and mom is cool enough to be a part of their club.

Brooklyn's last cross country meet was half way to our favorite winery so after watching her race we drove out to enjoy some time together.

Of course my kid would wear an In N Out hat

She's so comfortable with who she is and is always herself!

Brooklyn had her first school dance!
The theme was 'A Night in Paris'
She knew right away she would wear her beret to the dance.

Growing up too fast!

She said she had a wonderful time!

While Brooklyn was dancing the night away Kayla was off to the high school football game.

Right after Thanksgiving break Brooklyn was ready for Christmas.

We ended the month of November with Kayla's follow up appointment for her knee.  The doctor said everything looked great and she is healing nice.  She's starting physical therapy now and doing well.
