The girls had Spring Break weeks ago and we went camping. Originally we were thinking of heading back to Utah to catch a few more spots we didn't see the first time around but with gas prices being so high it was going to cost us way too much so we decided to stay in California and just head back to Paso Robles. We camped there last year for their Spring Break and had such a great time we decided to do it all again.
The only thing I wanted to do this trip was relax!
I had nothing planned and told Chris he was in charge. I have been so busy working, planning holidays and mainly planning for our Summer that I didn't have the energy to worry about planning another trip. I just wanted to relax this trip and take it slow so as soon as we arrived we set up and literally just sat and enjoyed the view, talked and had some drinks. It was already exactly the trip I needed!
We woke up and grabbed our coffee, some donuts and discussed what we wanted to do that day. The girls wanted to do some shopping, Chris and I wanted to do some wine tasting and the girls definitely wanted to go to their favorite ice cream spot.
We stopped in at Tobin James for some wine tasting. We are members here and thought the girls would enjoy hanging out here because they have arcade games for them to play
but instead they wanted to hang outside with their sparkling grape juice, play games on their own phones and read.
After some wine we took the girls to get their favorite ice cream!
Very happy campers!
Right next door to the ice cream shop there is Barrelhouse brewery so of course we stopped for some beer tasting.
The weather could not have been better. I loved that we could be outside the entire week we were there!
We drove to downtown Paso Robles to do some shopping. There are a lot of cute shops to look through.
Kayla also found the library!
Unfortunately it was closed which was a win for Brooklyn.
It was getting close to dinnertime so we found a fun spot to eat called, Taste. They had a lot of different sliders, salads and every kind of mac and cheese flavor you could think of.
The spot was very cute and we had fun ordering a bunch of different items and sharing.
We ended our day back at the trailer around the campfire with s'mores.
