Fall Camping Trip

The week of Thanksgiving the girls are off from school so we wanted to get some camping in but with Kayla's CIF Finals and along with the cost of gas right now we didn't want to go too far so we settled on a quick two nights at Vail Lake in Temecula.  I'm usually not a huge fan of two night camping trips because it's so much work/laundry for such a short trip away but I really didn't care this time because I just wanted to relax around a campfire!

We got checked in and I set up appetizers and made some cocktails and it was time to relax!

Brooklyn was inside drawing and Kayla read for quite a while.  We were all doing exactly what we wanted to be doing.

First night and already so many laughs!

Morning coffee and a kringle

always a candle burning even when away

We went on the most beautiful four mile walk with some Fall colors.

Can you spot Brooklyn riding her bike far away from us walkers?

We came back and rested a bit, ate and then headed to do some mini golf.

So much fun with these two

Back to relax a bit more before dinner

Brooklyn wanted to make sure she got to shake the cocktail shaker whenever I made a drink.

It was super cold so I brought out some fun hot cocoa bombs I purchased earlier in the Fall from Trader Joes.

It was the perfect campfire drink for the girls.

What a great little getaway with my favorite people.
