The beginning of October Kayla's cross country team participated in the Clovis Invitational. It's about a four hour drive so the team leaves Friday morning for their race which is Saturday morning.
After we dropped her off we headed on our way up as well but made sure find a yummy spot to eat on the way. I ordered a champagne spritzer and Brooklyn ordered a Watermelon fresca.
Our food here was amazing and we will definitely be back if we are ever heading back this way.
After everyone was settled in we all met up for the family/team dinner. A picture of the girls excited to go back to the hotel and I'm sure do anything other than sleep that night.

She didn't finish that great but had missed practiced for most of the week due to being sick so it was expected. She was back to herself in no time chatting with all her teammates.
A quick little trip with lots of memories made for these girls.
