Back Home

We made it back home and I have to say it is really nice to be back even if it's not at the beach.  We had a great time and hope to make  Balboa Island our yearly vacation every year.  The location was perfect especially for little kids, we were walking distance to the sand and water as well as to all of the downtown shops.  I have a ton of pictures to go through from our vacation so this post will just include a few I took while walking around the island

Here is the outside of our little beach house which was adorable inside and out.

In the evenings we would take walks around the island and we even took the ferry over to the Balboa Fun Zone where Kayla was the happiest kid around.  She loves rides and every night she would remind us of how much fun she had at the fun zone earlier in the week

Chris and Kayla made a few different sand castles and some were pretty cool but I'm sorry they sure didn't top this one we saw on our last day

The houses along the island are amazing and I really don't understand how it is fair that these people get to live here.  I hope they actaully know how lucky they are and don't take it for granted!
