Preschool

We made it through the first day!
Kayla loved school, she was so excited to go to school that it made it very easy for me to leave her.  I had to almost drag her daddy away though, he didn't want to leave her.   I told him I think it is easy for me since it is only twice a week for a few hours but once she is going full time to Kindergarten it will be much harder.  Once we got home I did miss her and worried about her most of the time, I was worried the phone would ring and something might have happened or that the other kids might be mean to her.  I'm sure it will take some time to get used to her being gone but I did get a lot more done than I am used to and it was so nice to play with just Brooklyn.
When we picked her up she told us all about her day and that she wanted to go back.  I explained to her she would go back on Thursday and she said "no, I want to go back today".
I am so glad she had fun, I hope she continues to love it.

She said her favorite part was the swings!
Oh and that adorable outfit...she picked that out all on her own.  She wouldn't even consider any of my picks.

I just found your blog and can relate to leaving kids at school for the first time. I just dropped my youngest off for her first day of high school and realized I still felt the same way...hoping it was good for her, kids would be nice to her and just plain old worried about her, and at the same time happy for her...some things never change.

she's started picking out her own clothes already huh? My girls first day is tomorrow. It's my first time with 2 full time students. Not sure how it's going to go yet.
