A White Christmas

Well since it doesn't look like we are going to get any snow this Christmas we decided to add some white to our Christmas decor on our own.

I have wanted to make one of these wreaths for the past month and had all the stuff lying around that I needed to do it but I just kept forgetting about it.

So what better time to do it then 2 days before Christmas when I should be cleaning or baking and getting ready for a house full of people that will be here Christmas Day!

Good thing it was real easy and lots of fun to make.

All you need are coffee filters which I got at the dollar store, hot glue gun and a foam ring from any craft store ($5).

Just bunch up the bottoms of each filter and then start gluing them around the foam ring.

It helps if you have a lil' helper!

I also got a little bored this past weekend with it raining non-stop that I ended up painting some kitchen furniture as well.

Sometimes you just have to take things into your own hands and make your own White Christmas :)

You sure have been busy! Your wreath turned out really nice Shannon...it's so pretty and ruffly. I like the chairs too. I painted a birdcage today and it took forever!

Too bad about your snow, I wish I could send you some of mine. Hope you have a wonderful Christmas ♥
