The Next Season

Today it was sunny and so clear outside and it made me think of Spring.

I will not mention that it was so windy that while out trimming back my rose bushes I thought I might just get blown away.

I love Spring, or should I say I love the change of every season as each one holds such excitement for me.

I look forward to Spring just to see

all the flowers that begin to bloom,

I love having crafts outside rather than being stuck inside.

I can't wait to see both the girls climbing up the slide and splashing through the sprinklers.

I am looking forward to waking up before sunrise to shuttle the girls off to the grandparents so the hubby and I can make it to the flea market to find great treasures and then have a wonderful lunch together talking about our babies & sharing all of our dreams!

Spring seems like a long way off but I'm sure it will come just as quickly as every other season.

In the meantime while I wait  I have been reading up on a few of my favorite decorating books

and I  have been re-decorating here and there and adding flowers to help brighten up our days.

It helps especially on the ever so gloomy days while we are stuck inside.

When we wonder if the rain will ever stop?

We haven't had many of those days quite yet

but I know they are on their way!

I cling to the idea of Spring as we settle in to the longest, coldest part of Winter here in the Midwest! Your girls are just so darn cute!!!

Happy New Year Shannon ~
