Mommy's Helpers

Sunday night we made our favorite Turkey Sausage Lasagna for dinner.
Kayla almost always wants to help me fix dinner so I am used to having her up beside me on a chair helping.
This night I had 2 little helpers :)

Now that Brooklyn has discovered how easy it is to climb up on things she has been trying to climb up on Kayla's chair.
So I decided to pull 2 chairs over.
She was very excited to be up there just like her big sister.

There was not too much Brooklyn could help me with while making the Lasagna this night.
So I will have to come up with a few things that she can help make and will not eat while preparing

All I know is that she will definitely be helping every night from now on because she ate all of her dinner!
I don't know if it was because she watched me make the entire dinner or that she just decided she was extra hungry that night but she ate every single bit of her Lasagna and even wanted more.
We have had a hard time to get this girl to eat dinner at all.
She usually just wants bread and that is it.

Hopefully this works again tonight!

What lovely photos of your two gorgeous girls! I know all about having "little helpers" in the kitchen, and sometimes it helps having A LOT of time and a lot of patience... :-D On the other hand, it can help inspire the children to eat what they have helped create, and it sounds like the magic worked for you.

Thank you so much for your kind words on my blog on New Year's Eve, I really appreciated them!

Kind regards,
Helena
