The Girl's Room

I told you I would be back to let you know how the room sharing was going and I figured I would show you pictures of their room as well.
The room is pretty much done, just maybe needs a window treatment which I will get to eventually.
Oh and some comfy throw blankets at the end of the bed but I'll wait until the weather cools down for those.

I love, love, love their duvets!!

I picked them up at Ikea for $20.00 each and the sheets are the Rachel Ashwell Shabby Chic line from Target .
I really wanted the room to be girly and I love the Shabby Chic look so I was really excited to find these duvets for so cheap at Ikea.

As you can see there aren't any pictures above their beds which is because Brooklyn would be sure to rip it down or play with whatever I put up there.

.
.

The green basket on their dresser holds their Cd Player and Cd's.
They love their music and both ask for lullabies before naptime and nighttime.

The adorable striped pillows are from Maria's shop, Dreamy White's Online.
A few days ago while browsing her shop I noticed she had just added some lavender striped lavender pillows.
Good thing I bought two of them right away because they are now currently sold out!
They look so cute on the girls beds and of course they love having their very own lavender pillows.

So there it is, I'm happy with how the room came out and they both like it too.
As far as the room sharing is going, nighttime is still great.
They both fall asleep right away.
Naptime has gotten a little better, Brooklyn still plays around a bit but atleast stays in the bed until she eventually falls asleep.
I'm sure it will get better as time goes on ;)

Dear Shannon,

Love the look.

Baby girl also has two of those
lamps from the Rachel Ashwell
Shabby Chic line and glass pulls
on her night stand and dresser.

Where did you purchase the headboard from?

I'm following you on Pinterest!

Enjoy your day.

Best,

CBO

I love it! It looks so pretty. I love the shade of lavender on the walls. I am also cracking up at the comment about B pulling the stuff down. C often played with the letters above his crib.

So cute!!!
We've got baby number three on the way and with only three bedrooms in the house, I'm trying to come up with some sort of sleeping arrangement.

Their room turned out so wonderful. Who wouldn't want to crawl into all that sweet slumber. I love all that precious shabby chic - alas my 10 year old had outgrown "cute" and is totally into "funky". Remembering those sweet days vicariously through your posts.

Awesome! What a great girls room. Nothing wrong with girly! I love the sheets as well---they have a definite vintage feel to it and I love that. Those lavender pillows are adorable--I want some! Great job.

I'm having a Shabby Apple dress giveaway---I'd love for you to check it out! www.alittleknickknack.com

Following you from Life With Two Boys Thursday Blog Hop.
I love the room, so girly and vintage feeling. I have two little girls that shared a lovely pink room. Their room is no longer pink though considering the my oldest is obsessed with Spider-Man who happens to only like "red and purplish-blue"
At least I was able to have a super girly room for them for a couple years :)
