Goodbye Summer

Today is the last official day of Summer and although I know I will soon be complaining about the cold and wishing for it to stop raining I can't help but be excited for Fall!
Fall just might be my favorite season of all.
There is a certain excitement Fall brings.
Such as the holidays are just around the corner and I love eating the comfort foods of Fall, soups, roasts, and all of the baked goods as well.
Who doesn't want some Chocolate Chip Pumpkin bread for breakfast when it's rainy and cold outside??

This weekend we will be switching out the beach and Summer decorations for pumpkins and a few Halloween decorations here and there.
I'll be making and freezing our homemade Tomato Soup and maybe even baking some delicious Fall desserts to enjoy

So goodbye sweet Summer and thank you for giving us such wonderful memories that we will hold onto forever.
We will miss the warm days spent outside playing in the water but look forward to next years fun.
Right now we need a break from the heat so please send us some lower temps. so we can enjoy all of the Starbucks seasonal coffees ;)
Is everyone else ready for Fall?

Love the pink roses. They're one
of my favorite flowers.
