Turkey Prints

I'm always looking for fun and easy crafts the girls can do so when I stumbled across this cute Thanksgiving turkey on Pinterest I knew it was perfect for the girls.

Isn't it the cutest!!
Today when Kayla got home from school I got the brown paint out and some white paper.
I had the girls each step onto a plate with the paint on it, one at a time of course we don't want a huge mess!
I helped them stamp their footprint onto a white piece of paper and then quickly had them sit down so I could clean up their feet.

By the time they took their naps, or should I say by the time I finally got Brooklyn to actually fall asleep their footprints were dry so I added the wings, feet, eyes, etc.

I figured I would just draw the wings and let them color them in themselves.
That way it would be more their craft than mine and they liked that idea of course ;)

They both turned out really cute even if Brooklyn didn't color in the turkey wings.
I love that they are their footprints and I can keep them forever to remember when they are all grown how little their feet once were.
