Vintage Finds

Well the weekend has come and gone and although I wanted to be completely done with my Christmas shopping, I am not.
I shopped a little on Friday and then all day today.
I ended up buying the girls a few stocking stuffers instead of gifts for other people but that's okay because most of the people I have left are getting gift cards or I already know exactly what I'm getting I just need to go to a certain store to pick it up.
I guess I could have gotten it all done today but I just wanted to enjoy a nice lunch and afternoon shopping with my mom :)

I mentioned in my last post that when I went shopping on Friday I stopped by a few antique stores and I found two cute pieces for the house.
One is just a kids chair but for some reason I am always drawn to them.
I think it's because they are small and cute and even better when they are all worn!

When my husband first saw the chair he looked at me like I was crazy and said "it's just a metal folding chair"
What??  he must not of noticed the beautiful missing paint all over it ;)
Anyway the girls LOVE it, or should I say Kayla does she is always sitting in it, so of course it was worth a few bucks.

Now on to my favorite find....

My little bench
I have been wanting something exactly like this to go by our front door but didn't want to spend $200 because it really isn't something I needed.

When I saw this I was so excited because it matches the dark wood I have in my house but is also worn and old looking so it's even better.

I think it was meant to be, especially for only $20
It needs the perfect pillow but that will have to wait for now.
In the meantime I'm looking forward to adding some cute Christmas pillows on it!

Well that's it for my fun vintage finds of course I bought a lot of other things this weekend but they weren't vintage.
I can't believe Thanksgiving is only a week and a half away!!!
Where does the time go.
