Christmas Cookies

Monday morning the girls and I baked sugar cookies and my parents came out to decorate the cookies with us.
The girls were both really excited to decorate sugar cookies with 'Gamma & Papa' and I think both of my parents had just as much fun as the girls did.

Brooklyn didn't do much decorating at first, she just decided to eat the cookies as is.

Kayla decorated her cookies beautifully and we only had maybe a few cookies that got a little too much frosting or a giant mountain of sprinkles on top

I ended up giving Brooklyn a candy cane to keep her from eating all the cookies so once she inhaled  her candy cane and ate all the sprinkles she could get her hands on she went and sat with Papa and then got down to business on decorating her cookies.

It was the perfect cold and cloudy morning spent baking and decorating cookies.
I love the way they all came out so bright and fun!
I think this might just be a new tradition for us ;)

Those cookies look great. I like how you put all of the sprinkles in bowls in the middle of the table. Good idea.
