It's all coming together which is about time since Christmas is only 2 weeks away!
All the decorating is pretty much done except for the tree which we will get Saturday.

Today I thought I would share our mantel with you guys while I clean up the mess of boxes that need to be put back out in the garage.
I went with sort of a vintage theme with the bottle brush trees and my vintage Santa mugs.
This year the stockings are not hanging from the mantel again because of the holders being so heavy I am afraid that Ms. Brooklyn would pull a stocking down and it would fall on her head so until I know she will stay away from the stockings they will stay up high on our bookshelf.
I brought out my moss covered wreath and hung it from my vintage window and added a Peace ornament for a little Christmas sparkle.
I love the simplicity of the mantel with all of the decorations everywhere I need some simplicity here and there.
