I think most moms with young children would agree that nighttime is their favorite time of day.
Right after the kids are bathed, smelling delicious and wearing their cute pajamas.
Sitting as a family and winding down from the busy day.

Today the girls spent the entire afternoon in the front yard running around with all the neighborhood kids.
We ended up eating dinner later than usual because they were having too much fun to care.

Kayla could barely keep her head up once we did come in to eat.
We are definitely enjoying our long Summer days and nights!

I love when they quietly sit still or come and cuddle with me on the couch while we watch that one last cartoon before bed.

rubbing her ear is always a sign that Brooklyn is tired

One last drink before bedtime

beds torn apart and ready for the girls to climb in

Sweet Dreams!

Aw, I love this! They are so sweet. Such a contrast to my house at bedtime - my boys are usually bouncing off the walls and getting into trouble!

This is such a sweet post Shannon, your girls are so cute and don't you just love recognising little things about your own children like Brooklyn rubbing her ear when she is tired :)
I love that little white desk you have and the mason jar candle, so pretty!
Goodnight girls!

Such cute pictures!!!
And yes, might be my favorite time of day too.
Love the pic of them having one last drink.
We have those same star pj's too. I bet our girls closets have a lot of the same stuff. ;)

Just beautiful! I love night time too. Especially after a long busy day. My favorite part just might be after they have gone to sleep :) I will miss these days...
