With the 4th of July coming up and all the summer parties you might be throwing I thought I would share a delicious and easy dessert with all of you .
Everyone needs to have a recipe for a fast and easy dessert and this is one of my favorites!
There is absolutely no baking involved and you can switch up a few of the ingredients if you wanted to.
I like to use fresh strawberries because I know the girls will always eat them, plus strawberries and chocolate is just one of my favorite things anyway.
Okay so on to the ingredients....
Yes, that's it!
sponge cakes
strawberries
and
frosting
of course you can change it up a bit, maybe vanilla frosting or rasberries instead of strawberries whatever you prefer.
To assemble lay your sponge cake down and spread some frosting in the center just as you would if you were frosting a cake.
On top of the frosting add your fruit and then top with the other sponge cake but turn it upside down so the indented part is facing down covering the fruit.
Then all you have to do is frost the entire thing add some more fruit and it's ready to eat!
They are always a hit and who doesn't love having their own mini cake all to themselves??

You had me curious when you said "no baking". Great idea, especially for the hot summer. No baking and chocolate and cake and strawberries, you are speaking my language. Happy week with your girlies.
Oh these look wonderful. I am going to a girls dinner this week and I think I may bring these.
