Hi Everyone, hope you all had a great weekend!
I missed Ten On Ten yesterday because we spent the morning walking around the Rose Bowl Flea Market, going out to lunch and then ended the day at my parents BBQ'ing and swimming.
It was a great Sunday and I did not feel like carrying my camera around all morning while I was searching for some goodies to bring home ;)

I am going to try and start taking one photo a day like I did last Summer for the Summer in Snapshots series that I participated in last year.
It's fun to look back at the end of Summer to see what we did each day.
Not sure what day will be the Summer in Snapshots post but I'm thinking Wednesdays like last year so stay tuned.
I want to THANK all of you that left me such sweet comments on my House Tour that South Shore Mommy hosted.
I always love to hear what you guys have to say so thanks again!!!

Okay now onto our Summer Fun List.
It's up and we have already done a few things on the list.
We've declared Wednesday's as our Craft days so we will be busy doing some fun things that the girls can look forward to on those days.
I'm leaving some room on the bottom in case we come up with some more ideas but it's pretty much done the way it is for now.
The girls did some painting last week, painting these cute little face masks I picked up awhile back for $1 each.
I could easily just give them the paint and some paper and they would be perfectly happy but they sure do love playing with these face masks!
Kayla started swimming lessons this morning and lets just say it didn't go so well.
She has always hated water in her eyes so when they asked her to put her head in the water and blow bubbles she told them no.
We tried it with goggles and still got no eventually followed by crying when she decided she didn't want to do anything after that.
Nothing is more frustrating than watching your kid completely quit and not even try.
After a few talks this morning she says she is going to try again tomorrow so lets hope things go better!

pretty roses!
Oh, I so know that feeling. It's so hard sometimes to be parent! I took E to karate today and she started off crying and then she did it and I even saw a ton of smiles!
I've been on vacation and missed your home tour, I will be checking that out for sure!
Just keep being patient with your daughter, eventually she will get it! You can practice so many ways, in a large bowl, in the tub. Good luck!
I love your summer list, so fun. You always get the cutest things for the kids to do.

Oh nothing is more frustrating than teaching little ones to swim especially when they aren't interested. Hoping she will want to swim soon. If it makes you feel any better my youngest hated the water at first and when we gave up and tried the next year...she was a fish. Love your summer list idea. Wish I had done that when mine were younger. That would have been fun. Your gilrs look as cute as ever. Happy summer Shannon!
Hi Shannon! Just saw your house tour Post and your home is beautiful!!! I love your style and it totally reminds me of the beach.
We need to make our summer list soon! I am sad that summer will only be 8 weeks for us. I'm not ready for that busy schedule to sneak up on us!
Good luck with swim lessons. Claire used to hate them and she got over it quickly. Good luck!
Awww, poor Kayla. She will get there. Do they make the kids her age jump off the diving board into the deep end? They did Faith :(
Love your Summer list! You are such a fun momma! We made one too and the kids are loving it!
Hello Shannon,
Love your list. I just saw one on Pinterest (I think) done with colored chalk on a chalkboard.
Thanks again for being a guest with your House Tour!
Have fun completing the fun things that you will be doing with the girls! :)
