Hello

This week flew by, I can't believe it's already Thursday!
We've been running around like crazy this week.
Every morning I drop Kayla off poor Brooklyn gets dragged to store after store gathering everything for her 3rd Birthday party which is this Saturday.
I usually have everything together and done ahead of time but with how crazy things have been with wedding stuff I didn't have anything done at all.
I just got done writing my grocery list for tomorrow morning so after that all I have to do is food prep,
oh and cleaning, maybe laundry too!
Things have gotten a little crazy here ;)

Good thing I like a little crazy in my life!

Kayla is still loving school and I am too.
Waking up early is working out just fine around here and I look forward to hearing all about her day every ride home from school.
There are still a few mornings I've gotten teary eyed when dropping her off and it's usually over something stupid like seeing her run up to a friend and listening to them talk about their Hello Kitty outfits or hearing her say "Hi, do you remember me from soccer" to a friend that is on her team.
Oh she's too cute!

Brooklyn tells me everyday that she misses Kayla but is always ready to drop her off and leave her right away.
I like to watch Kayla for a bit on the playground but Brooklyn always says "alright time to go" or "I want to go now"
She still doesn't have any urge to go to school what so ever she enjoys being dragged around with her mommy or hanging out at home.

"you get what you get and you don't throw a fit"
Kayla made the mistake of telling me this a few days ago, she said her teacher says it to them.
I told her I like it and it would be going up on the chalkboard.
Needless to say Kayla does not like the saying and wishes she didn't tell me about it ;)
Too late now, it's perfect!

Daddy took both of the girls to soccer tonight so I'm off to soak in a bubble bath with a glass of wine!
What else is there to do in a quiet house???
Goodnight!

Sounds like a nice night to me! You are my kind of girl!

Yes, we love that saying in our house. The kids even say it to each other. :)

Have a wonderful time with weekend!

Your girls are as cute as ever!! We say that quote around our house all the time, even between my husband and I. It will definitely be one we use for a very long time. I'm sure the kiddos will just love us for it! ha ha!

Ok, so I bawled as my Annie ran into school today. It is like the 3rd week of kindergarten. I have been fine, but today another little girl was yelling for her to wait up so they could walk in together and I lost it. She has her own little life and friends. I am so happy for her yet so sad at the same time. Very rude of these kiddos to grow up on us! :)
