Random

We've been spending our time watching some of our favorite Halloween cartoons.
I look forward to watching all of the Charlie Brown holiday movies every year and the girls love them now too.
I usually just DVR it when it's on but when I found out that "It's the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown" wasn't even going to be on until Halloween night I had to go out and buy it.
We all know most kids will be out trick or treatin so what's the point having it on a night when we will not even watch it.

Brooklyn's favorite spot to eat her snacks, everytime she has a snack she takes her drink and bowl to sit right there.

Hubby and I have tried to start some Christmas shopping, mainly just for the girls but haven't gotten a lot done pretty much all the toys seem like the same thing they've already got.
Oh and let's not even talk about how ridiculous the prices are for some junk toys!

It is drug awareness week so each day Kayla gets to wear something different, today was wear a cap day, "put a cap on drugs"

I wanted to get some pictures of her and she was all about the poses.

We've been fitting in some craft time more lately.
I told the girls to paint me something Halloweenish

I even got some time while they napped to paint for myself.

I have been wanting to make this for awhile, it's a good reminder for me to just "BE".
I might make some more for the shop but right now I've been busy working on some fun Christmas goodies that I'll be listing in a few weeks.
I've also marked down a few items to make room for the new stuff so be sure to see if something catches your eye. ;)

I plan on taking the girls up to the pumpkin patch this week so hopefully I'll be back soon with a whole lot of good Fall pictures!

K is such a character!!! love their paintings. I didn't realize that it wasn't on until then. That's a bummer! I bought the kids a chipmunks one but it's not great!

Me too! I'm struggling. Would love to get started but I don't know what to get these kids that have everything!

Oh I just love all of your Halloween decorations Shannon! I really wish we lived closer because I think you would be so fun to shop with!

Hi Shannon!
I LOVE your "BE" block! And I love that reminder to just be as well.

Christmas is tough because in two weeks is H's birthday, and then 10 days later is Claire's! So I always feel like I have to get past their bdays and past the party planning, and then I can focus on Christmas. It's tough!
And yes, crap toys they make these days! Whatever happened to the good quality toys?

Hey Shannon! You always take such beautiful pictures around your home :) I adore that first one! Kayla is so like you in those photos! Halloween looks fun in your house. And I agree with the toys, there are so many variations of the same things nowadays.
I cannot believe we have to think about Christmas shopping already, where has the year gone?
Beautiful girls!
Have a good day :)

When my boys were younger we always loved to do the Halloween movie nights! So fun! A few years ago we decided to watch the Michael Jackson Thriller video - they hadn't seen it. They were wide eyed, and we ended up watching the entire DVD of his video's - then that turned into a tradition for a couple years. Random funnyness. Now they are busy and out with friends running the streets so we haven't done that in a couple of years. Enjoy all this time while your girls are little. They are adorable!
