A Touch of Valentine's

I had intended to post this yesterday but the day got away from me and after the week I had last week I needed a day do whatever I wanted!
We were running around everywhere last week from multiple doctor visits, to dance classes, taking the dog to the vet and trying to fit in time to prepare for a UFC party Saturday night it was a very busy week.
The weekend was just as busy but was nice because it was full of fun.
We had friends over Saturday night for the UFC fight.
They all brought their kids and the kids all played really well together away from the tv in their bedrooms which worked out perfectly.
Sunday we had a Super Bowl party at a friends house to go to but before we headed out for that we decided it was time to add some Valentine's Day decorations here and there.

The girls helped me as usual, they love these little mailboxes and look forward to seeing the flag up  on them because then they know there is a surprise waiting for them inside.

If there isn't a surprise inside there is surely a my little pony or some other toy hiding out.

I don't do too much decorating for Valentine's Day I save all the decorating for the bigger holidays and after Christmas I need a break, this year Easter is right after so I definitely needed to keep it light!
What about you, do you go all out for Valentine's Day or just a few touches here and there?s

Since you have little girls, I'm sure they really appreciate the hearts being displayed around the house. I don't usually decorate for Valentines Day, but I also have boys. So there ya go! LOL! The little mailboxes are such a cute idea. Your purple flowers are beautiful too. Makes me think of Spring.

I love your Valentine's day decorations. I like a little touch of red and pink here and there. I like decorating for Easter but our house may be up for sale around that time..so it may be light decorating for that holiday as well this year.
